I’m so fucking tired of minimalist movie and game posters.

I mean, they are clever and all, but they are so poor at representing any aspect at all of the product itself. I understand about 4/5 of them, so I don’t hate them because the poster themselves are usually references although it’s a horrible idea because it is only intended for the select few. And yes I understand the idea of doing a lot with a little, but why not do a lot more with a lot more? Minimalism was original at one time, but it no longer is. It simply sucks all the life out of something that could be so well portrayed. I hope that I am not the only one.
